OUR CURRICULUM
1: MACROCYCLE
You will be asked to write a year-long strength and conditioning program for one of the University at Albany sports of your choice. each week we will go over a portion of the program as a staff and go in depth of the "why" behind everything programmed.
2: OLYMPIC LIFTING TECHNIQUE
We will go over the ins and outs of olympic lifting, how to teach the lifts to individuals, how to teach in a group setting, and where they fit in a program for athletic development.
3: CULTURE BUILDING
You will be assigned different books/readings to summarize to the staff related to building a strong culture in the weight room and beyond.
