THE SEMINAR
DO I HAVE TO BE BASED IN THE U.S.A TO ATTEND?
No you do not need to be based in the U.S.A to attend the seminar.
DO I NEED TO BE IN COLLEGE OR OF A CERTAIN AGE TO ATTEND?
While there are no age requirements to attend, the My Momentum Seminar is intended for aspiring coaches working through their undergraduate or post-graduate degrees, or in the transition period between graduating and securing their first full-time role. We anticipate that the majority of our attendees will be aged between 18-26 years old.
HOW WILL THE SEMINAR BE DELIVERED?
We will be using both Zoom and a web-based app called Gather to deliver the seminar. In order to participate successfully you will need a computer with a webcam, microphone and connection to high speed internet.
WILL THE SEMINAR BE RECORDED?
Yes, attendees will have access to presentation recordings the week following the event for a period of 30 days. It is important, however, to recognize that a core theme of the My Momentum Seminar is to truly engage and be present for the duration of event. The most valuable aspect of the seminar often-times occurs in the breakouts and one on one interactions that are not captured in the recordings.
WILL I GET CEUs FOR ATTENDING?
Seminar attendees will be eligible to receive 0.6 CEUs from the NSCA as a result of attending both days of the My Momentum Seminar
THE MY MOMENTUM GRANT FUND
WHAT IS THE MY MOMENTUM GRANT FUND?
Every year, 100% of the money generated from ticket sales will be directed toward the My Momentum grant fund. At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees will be invited to apply to this grant fund in order to pursue further professional development opportunities. My Momentum will work directly with grant fund recipients to cover expenses related to their requests. Funds will not be transferred directly to recipients.

No you do not need to be based in the U.S.A to apply to the grant fund.
DO I NEED TO ATTEND BOTH DAYS TO BE ABLE TO APPLY TO THE GRANT FUND?
Yes, you will need to attend both days of the seminar to apply to the grant fund. Information delivered on each day will provide access to the application process.
HOW AND WHEN CAN I APPLY TO THE GRANT FUND?
Applications will be received through a link on this website that will appear following the conclusion of the seminar. There will be a specified period of time during which applications can be submitted. More information on this process will become available soon.
HOW WILL GRANT FUND RECIPIENTS BE AWARDED?
We commit to awarding grant funds in an equitable and unbiased way. Each application will be evaluated against a predetermined set of criteria that establishes the value and need for support.
