1: WARM UP

  • Understand RAMP method

  • Practice organizing and administering a warmup in a team setting

2: NEEDS ANALYSIS

  • Understand biomechanical and physiological needs of athletes

  • Practice researching and analyzing needs to drive training considerations

3: WEIGHTLIFTING 101

  • Understand, demonstrate & explain lift progressions and cues

  • Practice properly administering and progressing Olympic lifts in training programs

 

4: CHANGE OF DIRECTION / AGILITY

  • Understand the difference between change of direction and agility and drills to develop both

  • Practice properly administering and progressing in training programs

5: LINEAR SPEED

  • Understand acceleration & top end speed mechanics & drills

  • Practice properly administering and progressing in training programs

6: PLYOS / JUMP TRAINING

  • Understand progression, volume, intensity, and rest

  • Practice properly administering and progressing plyometrics in training programs

 

7: ENERGY SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

  • Understand energy systems

  • Practice applying energy system knowledge to sport

8: TECHNOLOGY 101

  • Understand how to use technology

  • Practice applying the data in driving training considerations

9: PERIODIZATION

  • Understand the different strength qualities (physiological traits)

  • Practice applying strength exercises to fit your training goals
