OUR CURRICULUM

1: CSCCa EXAM PREP

  • Cover topics to help in preparation to sit for the written portion of the SCCC exam.

  • Obtain necessary practicum hours by working with CSCCa-approved mentor and prepare for both the practical and program design sections of the SCCC exam

2: EXERCISE TECHNIQUE AND COACHING

  • Learn exercises and coaching cues utilized by the Wake Forest Sports Performance Staff in all components of strength and conditioning

  • Gain hands on experience coaching a variety of sports including: baseball, field hockey, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's golf, women's golf, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's tennis, women's tennis, track & field, and volleyball

3: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Opportunity to learn how to properly construct a resume and cover letter, better prepare for interviews and presentations, and improve your communication and relationship building skills

4: SPORTS SCIENCE

  • Gain experience utilizing various sports science technologies such as Catapult (GPS), Elite Form (VBT), VALD (ForceDecks, ForceFrame, NordBoard, SmartSpeed Plus) and more
